Tips for being happy yesterday, today and tomorrow!
I was thinking about the odd utensils post the other day, and it reminded me that I just love the utensils my two year-old gets to use. How sweet are those? Why do adults have to use lame metal forks and spoons?
I love those goofy utensils that come with specific foods. For example, those strange wooden “spoons” that come with single serving ice cream treats: Or what about the spoon straws that come with Slurpees? What else did I miss?
One of my favorite games to play with friends: Get a box of Bertie Bott’s Every Flavor Beans, close your eyes, pick out a bean, show it to your friends (so they know what flavor it is), then put it in your mouth and try and guess the flavor. It’s much more exciting than you [...]
… and people noticing and complimenting you on it…
I love talking a walk just after it rains, when the ground still glistens. Everything smells so clean and fresh, even in the middle of the biggest city.
I’m not sure if it’s the smell or the taste that’s better, but when you pull a loaf of banana straight from the oven, and the butter melts into the nooks and crannies of the bread… Mmmmm.
The feeling you get when you get an A on your report card, and your parents tell you how proud they are – awesome.
Driving down the wide open road, smelling the trees and watching the stars…
